flightsoffancyI... am probably the only one who finds it endlessly amusing that the last time I updated this thing (which I know I never update anymore) was with this meme that I'm about to post again. So, before that, in an effort to make this a worthwhile post, lemme think of something I haven't said...

...That failed miserably. So I'll say something I have said. I feel like I'm living my childhood now that I'm supposed to be an adult. I have more childish thought processes, and generally act more like a little kid than I ever did in my life. It's weird. BUT IT DOES NOT MAKE ME "PINK". [/incomprehensible rage] So I'm running around squealing about bishies now, so what? I am not, nor will ever be a pink person. Green, maybe--I have my yellow days, and my blue days, but mostly I'm somewhere in the middle. Also, I think people who shall remain nameless are going to regret getting me into manga--I'm starting to read it every spare moment, and not necessarily the ones that those nameless people think I should be reading. *shrugs* Believe it or not, I do realize how far from the esoteric Potter discussions I've fallen. But I've also fallen from this dark cloud of angst about my love life. The angst is still there... I'm just not so... vocal about it because it's not all-consuming anymore. Make sense?Now it's my weight instead. But then there are the bishies... And I still am searching for good flangst fic. The fact that it doesn't seem to exist means I have to content myself otherwise, and while my friends seem to do it with angst, I do it with slash fluff and smut. Oh, and it's starting to look like Tamaki and/or Honey is my role model, but...I swear, I recognize that the kids are nutso... Kyouya... I appreciate his brilliance, but he intimidates me. A lot. Anywayz. Right. I'm sure there was a point to this entry. I may have lost it, but there was one somewhere.

5)Are you saying I ship it like whoa or that I'm fluffy and sweet? Because only one of those two things is true.
6)Well, I was raised with liberal values. (Oh noes, I'm going to corrupt the children, ect.) But, I was also raised to be polite. Walking up to people and annoucning "Hey, I think you're acting like a complete fuckwit, and Jesus thinks so too *insert scriptural evidence* so if maybe you could quit making your psychologist and your proctologist work so closely together, that would be fantastic" is really not polite. So, if someone's asinine views are actively harming/likely to be cause harm to another person, then I'm involved. But if they're just being dipshits in the abstract, I tend to ignore them. Unless they really piss me off. In which case, smackdown is in order. But, at least the people I knew well, really weren't that conservative. I don't think the South is actually that conservative: we just have a very loud, very obnoxious group of people who like to think that, far from being the best argument for pro-choice there is, they are actually spokesmen for the South. I'd say it's probably about 60:40 conservative:liberal, but at least in my experience there's not that many bat-shit insane fundies.
